1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with ConvoAlly. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for paid subscriptions. We encourage you to try the free tier before upgrading to ensure the Service meets your needs.

2. Free Trial and Free Tier

We offer a Free tier (30 minutes/month) so you can evaluate the Service at no cost. We strongly recommend using the Free tier before purchasing a paid subscription. The Free tier includes core AI answer generation, practice mode, and basic analytics.

3. Refund Eligibility

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@convoally.ai with the subject line "Refund Request."
  2. Include your account email address and the date of the charge.
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your refund request.
  4. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method.
  • Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
  • Upon refund, your account is immediately downgraded to the Free tier.

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and refunds are different:

  • Cancellation: Stops future billing. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Cancel anytime from your account settings or the Dashboard.
  • Refund: Returns money for a charge already made. Immediately reverts your account to the Free tier.

We recommend cancelling your subscription if you simply want to stop being charged. You will retain full access to paid features for the remainder of your billing period.

7. Fair Use and Anti-Abuse

To maintain fair pricing for all users, we monitor for refund abuse including:

  • Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles.
  • Excessive usage before requesting a refund.
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit the 3-day refund window.
  • Sharing account credentials with others.

Users engaging in these practices may be denied refunds and/or have their accounts suspended.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall our total liability for refunds or credits exceed the amount you paid for the most recent billing period. This policy does not create any additional rights beyond those provided by applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Refund requests are processed under the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
